tebuthiuron 200g/kg granules Used for weeds in non-arable land
A soil applied granular herbicide with extended residual action for the control of undesirable tree and shrub species in pastures, as well as on non-crop land.
Product Features
Tebuthiuron 200 GG is effective against a broad spectrum of indigenous and exotic tree and shrub species;Rain is required to activate Tebuthiuron 200 GG after application, which should be just prior to or during the growing season of target plants;Resistant to ultra-violet light (sunlight) de-gradation. The main cause of dissipation from soil is microbial degradation.
Mode of action
Root absorbed, inhibits photosynthesis in treated plants. The foliage of affected plants turns yellow and is shed repeatedly until reserves stored in the root system are depleted.
Directions for use
Apply just prior to or during the rainy season. After application, sufficient rain will be required to leach the product into the root zone of target plants. Trees may take a year or longer to be controlled and in certain cases follow-up treatments may be required after an initial period of 24 months has lapsed.
Note
Do not apply within the root zone of desirable vegetation
